Why a Siberian Lily?

Every flower I make has its own special story. This one’s story starts as something completely unrelated to flowers.
Years ago, a South Korean nature lover spent years alone in the Siberian taiga, not moving for days from his body-sized hiding place, trying to observe and video Siberian tigers. As a threatened species, victim of poachers, the Siberian tigers are very difficult to see in the nature… This is a story about the creature’s beauty and the man’s love of Nature and his very strong self-control and discipline.
Watching the documentary I saw in this video the amazing Siberian tiger, standing on a rock above the Northern Ocean, surrounded by beautiful purple flowers. It was like a scene from a children’s fairy tale book and I was very attracted by the flowers and highly motivated to discover more about them…
